2018 Louisiana Slam Tournament - Venice - June 11-13

Suzie, Rebel and Julie would like to invite you to fish the Louisiana Slam Tournament.  With June 11 - 13 fishing dates, we have hopes of great weather, proper tide ranges and the best fishing on the Delta after meeting with some of the professionals guiding the Venice area.  Fishing should be off the charts in Venice, Louisiana.  We have approved the use of 10# PowerPro Hi Viz braided line as the only line to be spooled.  Some of the guides use leader, some do not; therefore, bring some with you.  If you prefer Fluorocarbon or regular leader material 30# to 40# is recommended.

There will be a mandatory Captain's Meeting at Venice Marina Crawgators Restaurant on Sunday evening, June 10th with all anglers and guides.  Weather permitting, the fishing will be on fire for the next 3 days of June 11-13 with our Awards Banquet on Wednesday night, June 13.  Please sign up now and get your deposits in, as the guides will be very busy during this exceptional fishing season.  These guides fish with us every year and we cannot leave them hanging out there since June is their hottest month in a bucket list fishing destination!

The ladies of Louisiana are all about FISHING & FUN!  If you haven't joined them, you won't want to miss this genuine good time down on the Delta and there is always a special party on Tuesday night.  Just for the record, in the past we have released over 2200 game fish with only 24 anglers.  Don't miss out on the fishing, friendship and fun!

Tournament includes:  Guides and dinner meals, guests are welcomed and encouraged.  Guest meals pricing is to be determined.

Tournament Fees:  $1,580 and deposits were accepted starting March 16, 2018.  Please sign up now and make sure you have paid your membership dues to be a valid participant.

Please Note:  Accommodations and travel are your responsibility, along with breakfast and lunch on the boat.  Venice Marina has a selection of room accommodations, as well as local rentals that can be found on-line.
