The IWFA is excited to be returning to Boca Grande for two days of fabulous fishing following our 2026 Annual Luncheon.  This event will include the first 24 anglers to sign up for our planned two days of fun fishing out of the Innlet at Boca Grande. The address of The Innlet is 1251 12th St E., Boca Grande, FL  33921.  www.theinnlet.com will give you more information about the hotel and surrounding area.  So grab your gear for some springtime fishing.  We have 8 of the best guides in the area reserved and will fish 3 ladies per boat so please leave your fly rods at home.  You will have the opportunity to catch snook, tarpon, spotted seatrout, snapper and many other species of fish and having a great time in this spectacular area to fish. 

Registration fee for this event will be $750 to be paid via check or Zelle only.  No credit cards will be accepted.   Once registration has opened, if you  wish to pay by Zelle you will proceed with the registration form, select invoice me  and then remit your fee to [email protected]  If you would like to pay by check please mail your check to IWFA  at the address listed on your invoice.  Your registration fee includes the guides plus all gratuities and the 6 pm Sunday Welcome Event with drinks and heavy appetizers, a gift bag, and the event shirt.  Our guides will be picking us up at The Innlet docks in the morning for our fun day of fishing and return us back to The Innlet afterwards.  This is a Funament and there are no rules except to have a great time fishing and enjoying the mutual trust and friendship of our fellow members.  A detailed schedule and more information will be provided once you register. 

Anglers will be responsible for their lodging costs, food and travel to and from Boca Grande.  Rooms are reserved at the Innlet at Boca Grande from Sunday (April 12, 2026)  through Tuesday (April 14, 2026) and departing Wednesday (April 15, 2026).  The rooms are based on double occupancy so grab your fishing buddy and sign up for this fun event.  The cost per angler for lodging  will range from $208 to $288 (depending on room location) plus taxes for the 3 night stay.  We have a block of rooms reserved and will take care of your reservations.  Your Funament hosts have planned dinners for Monday and Tuesday evenings in Boca Grande and this is not included in the registration fee.  

If you are planning on attending the Annual Luncheon at the Sarasota Yacht Club on Sunday, April 12th and then joining the Funament, it is an easy 1 hour and 30 minute drive south to Boca Grande from Sarasota.  We look forward to seeing everyone.  More information will follow once you have registered and sign up early!
