Welcome to the International Women’s Fishing Association’s

Junior Angler Program!

Dear Angler,

We are so excited to welcome you as a participant in our new program. Enclosed you will find the information you need to be successful in learning about conservation, increasing your angling skills, and spending time on the water with an IWFA sponsor. This packet includes the following:

  1. Junior Angler Program Guidelines
  2. IWFA Junior Angler Fishing Guidelines and Rules
  3. IWFA Junior Angler Catch and Release Form
  4. Junior Angler Point System and Species List
  5. Junior Angler Top Service Award Criteria

The IWFA was established by Charter in 1955 as a non-profit corporation. A Board of Directors in accordance with our by-laws manages the organization.  The purpose of the IWFA is to promote angling competition among women anglers, to encourage conservation, and to foster and promote release tournaments.

Membership in this organization is open to any woman of good character upon payment of her dues for a period of one year.  Membership renewal will be by invitation on a year-to-year basis beginning in February.

Again we are thrilled that you are joining this program as a junior angler and look forward to great pictures and stories from you and your IWFA sponsor.

Please contact the Junior Angler Chair Jenny Goodell at [email protected] or by phone at 630-747-8559 for questions, or if we can be of further assistance.
