If you are unfamiliar with the area  you may go to www.fla-keys.com for more information. With it's position between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, Islamorada is on migration routes for many large fish species. This tournament is one of the Club's longest standing  and always a special place to gather with members and friends for fishing in the Florida Keys with some of the best guides. If you have fished this event before or never had the opportunity you will want to be  a part of fishing the backcountry of the beloved Everglades National Park. Targeted specifies include bonefish, snook, tarpon, permit, redfish, trout, and numerous other fish.  More information will be forthcoming as plans are being finalized.

Kickoff will be Sunday evening October 16  at the Islamorada Fishing Club . We will fish two (2) anglers per boat and guides will depart the marina at 7:00 a.m. and lines out will be at  3:00  p.m.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be filled with anticipated excitement these three  (3) consecutive days tournament fishing the pristine waters of the Keys . Breakfast will be served at the Fishing  Club each morning before departing for tournament fishing.  The Awards dinner on Wednesday evening will also be held at the Islamorada  Fishing Club.  A deposit of $200 will hold your slot or you may select to pay the total registration  fee for this tournament in the amount of  $1800.  If you select making your deposit of $200,  you will then be invoiced  in two separate installments of $800 (one due mid July and the second due mid August).  Kim Clement and Gail Kennedy-McManus have graciously agreed to be your hosts,  This event has  a Fly Division and Spin Division and  you won't want to miss out!  You will have the option to select your Division when registering.  There will be space for 34 lady anglers to sign up.
