Mark your calendars ladies!  This is a reminder that registration will open  Monday, April 14 for our international tournament in Guatemala.  You will receive an email on the 14th of April with the link to register.  Below is a recap of the information for the event.  The tournament registration fee for each angler will be $250,  non-refundable, payable  by check to the address on your invoice or you may remit a Zelle payment to  [email protected] to the IWFA to cover the cost of awards, shirts, etc. for the event.

Below is the information about the event:

We are returning and are very excited that this will be the 50th IWFA Billfish Tournament. The event will again be hosted  from  Casa Vieja Lodge in Guatemala.  We have slots available for 28 anglers, based on double occupancy  and we will fish 4 ladies per boat.    For planning purposes,  travel day will be Sunday, November 9 into Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.  The Lodge will pick us up on arrival and provide us with transportation to the Lodge.  Monday, November 10 will be a fun filled  practice fishing day with the opportunity to freshen up your offshore skills, catch a sailfish on fly, go for a Blue Marlin, dorado or tuna. Tournament fishing will be Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12.  Our awards dinner will be Wednesday evening and then we depart for the airport Thursday morning, November 13.  Your Tournament Committee is Kathy Gillen, Connie O'Day and Brenda Moore.

Casa Vieja is a luxury sportfishing Lodge known worldwide for its fantastic fishing and accommodations.  Join in the fun of this beautiful and always relaxing atmosphere.  This all-inclusive package includes airport transportation to and from the Lodge, 3 full days of offshore fishing, tackle, bait,  transportation to and from the Marina each day of fishing, luxury accommodations, all meals (breakfast, lunch on the boat, after fishing appetizers and drinks, and dinner), all taxes and tips for the Lodge staff and drivers and laundry service is also available.  The total cost is $3950 plus your roundtrip air travel to Guatemala City.  Once you have signed up and paid your registration fee you will then complete your payments to the Lodge directly.  We will provide that information to each of you.  The payments will  be divided into two (2) installments of $1975 each.  The first being due in July and the final payment due in September.  If you need more information about the Lodge or their Fleet and Captains please visit www.casaviejalodge.com   The beautiful waters of the North Pacific produce incredible numbers of fish caught and released and we are very excited to be returning to this fabulous place for another great billfish tournament.
